Maintenance Technician – Apartment Buildings (Full-Time)

Location: Staten Island, NY

We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Maintenance Technician to join our property management team. This is a full-time position maintaining residential apartment buildings throughout Staten Island.

Responsibilities:

Perform general maintenance and repairs in occupied and vacant apartments

Troubleshoot and complete basic plumbing and electrical repairs

Repair doors, locks, windows, drywall, and other building components

Cut grass and maintain the exterior grounds

Remove garbage and keep common areas clean

Prepare apartments for new tenants

Respond promptly to maintenance work orders and emergency calls

Perform preventative maintenance on buildings and equipment

Keep maintenance supplies and tools organized

Qualifications:

Valid driver's license (required)

Experience in apartment or residential building maintenance preferred

Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs

Ability to operate lawn maintenance equipment

Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions

Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently

Strong work ethic and attention to detail
