Maintenance Technician / General Construction Assistant

Location: Red Oak, TX
Position: Full-Time
Pay: $22–$25 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule: 40–50 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays

We’re looking for someone to help maintain our event venue, company properties, and residential construction projects.

This is a hands-on position that includes:

• General building maintenance
• Basic electrical work \(changing outlets, switches, light fixtures, etc\.\)
• Basic plumbing repairs
• Installing locks, door hardware, and other miscellaneous repairs
• Construction punch-out work before homes are turned over to buyers
• Loading and unloading equipment and materials
• Pulling and backing trailers
• Helping wherever needed to keep projects moving

Now here’s the most important part…

I’m looking for someone with good old-fashioned common sense. Someone who doesn’t have to be told every little thing to do. If you walk by something that’s broken, fix it. If you see something that needs attention, take care of it. If you don’t know how to do something, ask questions and be willing to learn.

No two days are the same around here. One day you might be fixing something at our wedding venue, and the next day you’ll be helping finish a house before it closes. We stay busy, and we like people who enjoy staying busy too.

We offer 4 paid holidays each year, and vacation is available after the probation period.

You must have:

• Experience in general maintenance or construction
• Basic plumbing and electrical knowledge
• A valid driver’s license
• Experience pulling a trailer
• The ability to communicate in English Spanish is a big plus
