Maintenance Technician (Independent Contractor)

Willows on Clark Road is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for ongoing apartment maintenance work.

This is not an entry-level position. Applicants must have experience in plumbing and drywall repair.

This position is for you if:

You have several years of hands-on apartment or building maintenance experience
You can diagnose and complete plumbing repairs without supervision
You are confident in drywall repair, patching, finishing, and paint prep
You work independently, show up on time, and complete jobs correctly the first time

Requirements (No Exceptions):

Verified plumbing experience (leaks, stoppages, fixtures, valves, basic troubleshooting)
Drywall repair experience (patch, tape, mud, sand, prep)
Prior apartment or multi-unit maintenance experience
Reliable transportation and your own basic tools
Ability to work independently and manage assigned work orders
Professional communication and strong reliability

Responsibilities:

Perform plumbing repairs and preventative maintenance
Complete drywall repairs related to plumbing and general maintenance
Handle unit turns and punch-out items
Respond to maintenance needs in occupied and vacant units
Maintain quality workmanship and follow property standards

Pay & Structure:

Based on experience
Independent Contractor (1099)
Consistent work available for the right contractor
Schedule:

Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

On-call rotation required
