Maintenance Technician / Painter — Full Time — $28-30/hr

We're hiring a full-time Maintenance Technician — mostly painting — to join our team! You'll drive to assigned work orders, diagnose the issue, and take the right steps to fix it. There are also larger remodel/construction jobs that can take anywhere from a week to a month to complete.

This is NOT an on-site maintenance position. Greenbridge Properties manages small apartment complexes and single-family homes, with most properties located near Portland, on the east side. Work orders are assigned to techs who manage their own jobs and hours through smartphone software.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 am–5 pm

Responsibilities:

Painting — interior and exterior, prep, patch, and finish work (primary focus of this role)
Complete work orders and repairs in a timely manner
Estimate the time and scope of repairs
Perform routine preventive maintenance
Maintain an inventory of materials and supplies
Oversee work done by outside contractors as needed

Qualifications:

Previous experience in painting, maintenance, or related fields
Prior residential/apartment maintenance experience preferred
Comfortable lifting and carrying materials/equipment, climbing ladders, and working outdoors in varying weather
Able to travel between sites
Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
Own maintenance tools and equipment
Punctual and detail-oriented
Must pass background check and driving record check

We offer:
$28–$30/hour, based on experience and qualifications
Overtime paid at 1.5x for hours worked over 40/week
