Maintenance Worker for Apex Realty INC

We are seeking a reliable and skilled General Maintenance Worker to join our team. You will handle routine repairs, facility upkeep, and preventative maintenance to ensure our properties remain safe and fully operational. You will respond to both commercial and residential properties.

Key responsibilities:

• Perform basic plumbing, electrical and carpentry repairs.
• Fix dry wall, paint walls, roof and drain maintenance and maintain flooring
• Troubleshoot, service and maintain HVAC systems and appliances.

-Inspect building regularly to identify and resolve issues.
-Maintain grounds, clear walkways and handle waste removal.
-Respond to urgent repair requests from management quickly.
-Travel to various properties to respond to work orders.

Qualifications:
-High school diploma or equivalent
-At least two years hands on experience in general maintenance and construction.
- Knowledge of hand and power tools, maintenance equipment and machinery.
-Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb ladders and lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
-Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail.
-Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks and report back to management.
-Must have reliable transportation with valid drivers license and insurance.

Compensation
$25/hour Full time
Mileage reimbursement

Paid PTO (Vacation and sick time)

Must be able to pass drug test if/when requested.
