Manager/Partner Septic Business
Manager/Partner
Description
We are a multi‑service company with an established septic division that has temporarily paused operations due to staffing issues—not lack of work or equipment. We own two septic pump trucks, a skid steer, and a trackhoe, and we are fully equipped to handle pumping, repairs, installs, and excavation. We are now looking for the right person to relaunch and lead this division with full support from ownership.
What We’re Looking For
We want someone who already knows the septic industry and is ready to run their own show. This is not an entry‑level role. We’re looking for a motivated operator who understands septic systems, pumping, repairs, customer service, and field operations—and wants the opportunity to grow into a leadership or equity position.
Responsibilities
- Lead day‑to‑day septic operations, including pumping, inspections, repairs, and service calls
- Operate septic pump trucks safely and efficiently
- Diagnose septic system issues and provide solutions
- Manage job scheduling, customer communication, and service documentation
- Oversee field operations, equipment use, and jobsite safety
- Coordinate with ownership on growth strategy, pricing, and service expansion
- Train and supervise future team members as the division grows
- Maintain equipment and ensure trucks and machinery are job‑ready
- Represent the company professionally with clients, property managers, and homeowners
Requirements
- Septic industry experience required (pumping, repairs, installs, or inspections)
- Ability to operate or learn to operate pump trucks, skid steer, and excavation equipment
- Strong understanding of septic system components and troubleshooting
- Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required)
- Self‑motivated, reliable, and able to work independently
- Leadership mindset with interest in growing a division
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Willingness to take ownership and build something long‑term
- A fully equipped septic operation ready to relaunch
- Support from ownership for scheduling, billing, admin, and marketing
- Competitive pay with performance‑based bonuses
- Equity/partnership opportunity for the right long‑term operator
- Freedom to build and run the division with creativity and autonomy
- A stable company with multi‑state operations and steady work volume
