MANUAL MACHINIST - NO CNC

NO CNC — MANUAL MACHINING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

We are looking for an experienced Manual Machinist to join our team. This position requires hands-on experience setting up and operating manual vertical mills and manual lathes.

We are NOT looking for a CNC operator. The right candidate must understand traditional machining practices and be capable of setting up jobs and running parts independently.

Qualifications

• Must have experience with BOTH manual vertical mills and manual lathes
• Must be able to set up and operate machines independently
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, dimensions, and tolerances
• Knowledge of proper machining speeds, feeds, tooling, and setups
• Experience using precision measuring equipment, including micrometers, calipers, indicators, and gauges
• Ability to hold required tolerances and inspect your own work
• Strong understanding of good machining and shop practices
• Ability to troubleshoot setups and determine the best method for machining a part
• ProtoTRAK experience is a PLUS
• Dependable, safety-conscious, and takes pride in quality workmanship
• Must be available for some overtime when needed
