POSITION DETAILS:

Location: Lynnwood / Seattle area
Schedule: 7:00 AM–4:00 PM, plus overtime as needed
Experience: 2–4+ years in the marine industry or equivalent qualifications

We are looking for a motivated, hands-on Marine Field Service Technician to join our team servicing hydraulic and mechanical equipment aboard luxury yachts and other marine vessels.

If you enjoy mechanical work, troubleshooting hydraulic systems, and working on yachts, this is a great opportunity to grow your skills in a specialized marine industry.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Service, repair, and maintain yacht lifting and boarding equipment, including cranes, passerelles, gangways, shell doors, Hydralift systems, and more.
2. Install, troubleshoot, and test hydraulic tubing, hoses, pumps, motors, and related components.
3. Install electrical controls, junction boxes, wiring, and electrical connections.
4. Assist senior technicians with lifting and rigging plans for the removal and installation of yacht equipment.
5. Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, diagrams, and hydraulic/electrical schematics.
6. Follow engineering and manufacturing documentation to ensure quality service and repairs.
7. Clean, assemble, disassemble, and replace mechanical and hydraulic components as directed.
8. Complete work orders, labor records, and service reports accurately.
9. Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment in the shop and aboard customer vessels.
10. Work collaboratively with the service team and communicate professionally with coworkers and customers.

QUALIFICATIONS:
1. 2–4+ years of marine industry experience preferred; equivalent qualifications will be considered.
2. Mechanical aptitude and a working understanding of hydraulic and electrical systems.
3. Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, and schematics.
4. Comfortable using standard mechanic's tools and operating shop equipment.
5. Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
6. Ability to read and write at a high school level or equivalent.
7. Professional attitude and respect for customer property.
8. Flexible schedule and willingness to work overtime when needed.
9. Dependable, motivated, and willing to learn.
10. Own your basic hand tools

Marine hydraulics experience is a plus, but we are willing to consider candidates with equivalent hands-on mechanical experience and the right attitude.
