Marine Painter's Assistant- Wooden Boat Repair

Matthew and Williams Boatworks is a wooden boat repair shop located on the Lake Washington Ship Canal near Ballard. We are looking for candidates who share our mission of preserving wooden boats through skilled craftsmanship.

We are currently seeking a Painter's Assistant to assist our lead Painter with preparation and application of marine coatings and varnish. We work on a variety of historical and modern vessels of all sizes, doing everything from bottom paint to high-end cabinetry varnish. An ideal candidate has an eye for detail, strives for perfection, and has experience in painting, finish work, or art.

Pay: $21.30-$25/hr, starting part-time.
