ABOUT US
Life Is Good Marine Services is a growing marine service company dedicated to helping boat owners spend more time enjoying their vessels and less time worrying about maintenance, repairs, and improvements.
We provide comprehensive yacht maintenance, repairs, system upgrades, installations, and restoration services throughout the Puget Sound region.
Our philosophy is simple: Exceptional workmanship, outstanding customer service, and treating every vessel as though it were our own.
We’re looking for an experienced, highly capable Lead Marine Systems Technician who takes pride in their craft, enjoys solving problems, and understands the importance of professionalism when working aboard privately owned yachts.
THE POSITION
This is an opportunity for an experienced marine professional who has developed a broad understanding of the many systems found aboard recreational and luxury yachts.
We’re not looking for someone who specializes in just one trade. We’re looking for someone who understands how the various systems aboard a vessel work together and has the knowledge, experience, and mechanical aptitude to diagnose problems, perform repairs, and complete installations.
The ideal candidate is equally comfortable troubleshooting an electrical problem, replacing a freshwater pump, repairing a leaking hatch, installing marine equipment, or diagnosing an onboard plumbing or HVAC issue.
You’ll be trusted to work independently, assess problems, develop solutions, and complete projects to a high professional standard.

Candidates should have a solid understanding of marine propulsion systems, including engines, transmissions, propellers, shafts, and related components.
Important: Our company does not perform internal engine repairs, engine rebuilds, or propulsion drivetrain mechanical work. However, understanding these systems and their relationship to other onboard equipment is an important part of being a knowledgeable marine technician.
