Marine Service Technician / Mechanic – Full Time

Location: San Diego, CA
Compensation: DOE (Based on Experience)

Action Sport Rentals is seeking an experienced Marine Service Technician/Mechanic to join our team and help maintain one of San Diego’s largest rental fleets.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance on Yamaha outboards
• Complete 100-hour and 300-hour services
• Perform water pump replacements and cooling system maintenance
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and performance-related issues
• Troubleshoot critical engine problems and provide effective solutions
• Maintain detailed service records
• Ensure fleet reliability and safety standards are met

Qualifications:

• Experience servicing Yamaha outboard engines required
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated
• Must have own basic tools
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
• Marine industry experience strongly preferred
