Job Summary

MUST HAVE FULL NYC MASTER PLUMBER LICENSE (or be in process of getting with completion within 4-5months or sooner).
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Master Plumber / Business Partner to help build a plumbing business that is second to none when it comes to: Response time, communication, professionalism, workmanship and reliability. The company will operate in NYC - primarily Manhattan.
As a 51% owner, YOU will be a majority owner in this venture. A kick-off meeting will be scheduled to discuss the desired direction of the business / business model we are hoping to create. If you agree with our approach and we agree with any input you may wish to add, then we can begin building a successful venture together!
Your Responsibilities
Must have at least 5 years experience working on residential building systems.
You will view jobs and work with partners to determine suitable pricing.
Interpret building plumbing plans to locate correct riser shut off valves.
Position will initially require physical labor and carrying out of jobs with a helper.
After initial business build out, the position will transition to supervision of multiple teams working throughout NYC, driving from site to site with plumbing supplies and parts. Mentor plumbing teams, ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, in a meticulously clean manner (especially when working within residential apartments.).
Use your LMP to pull DOB permits and maintain thorough documentation for inspections.
Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, pipe threading machines, and other heavy machinery safely and effectively.
Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred for site transportation needs.
Our responsibilites:
Funding the business: Pay for initial business set-up costs (Premises leasing, vehicle purchase, purchase of all power tools, hand tools, and all associated equipment that may be needed. Business registration, insurance, etc.
Handle all administrative aspects of the business: Answer calls 24/7, monitor and handle all email correspondence with clients, creation of proposals, coordination of project and teams.
Dealing and resolving all customer complaints.
Handle staff hiring & terminations.
Oversee business referral program (to be discussed with you).
All marketing and business expansion.
