THE DETAILS

Location: 1125 Dale Street SE, Albany, OR 97322

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM
Hours: 40 hours/week, Full-Time
Compensation: $25 – $35/hour, depending on experience

WHAT YOU'LL DO

1) Diagnose and repair gas, electric, and hybrid passenger vehicles, including engine and transmission work
2) Test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
3) Perform maintenance and repairs on engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and A/C
4) Test drive vehicles to diagnose malfunctions and verify repairs
5) Communicate with service advisors to keep customers informed of additional service needs
6) Operate shop equipment including lifts, hoists, jacks, and diagnostic computers

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

1) 3–5 years of mechanical repair experience; Toyota dealer experience preferred, Subaru, Nissan, or Honda dealer experience a plus, other dealership experience welcome
2) ASE Certification preferred
3) Associates degree in Automotive Technology or equivalent trade/vocational training preferred
4) High school diploma or GED required
5) Valid Oregon driver's license with a clean driving record
6) Comfortable with diagnostic software and willing to stay current with new technology
7) Able to document repair orders accurately and follow warranty policies
