Servicar of Michigan has been in the business of providing school bus transportation for Oakland, Macomb, and Wayne counties since 1964. We maintain a fleet of approximately 30 vehicles (autos, mini-vans, small buses and large buses, both gasoline and diesel engines. Our garage has 4 bays and 2 employees. We have a preventive maintenance schedule for our vehicles, workorders and state inspections. Facility/yard general building maintenance (NO mowing), recording keep for fuel monitoring system, use of Microsoft email and internet. Communicate with outside repair services.
Looking for an individual who wants a stable position and who is reliable, with good attendance, can take instructions and initiative on the job. Must work well with others. Will train to have a CDL to drive school bus, no student driving required. Paid Medical examination certification DOT, physical, drug and alcohol testing, and a criminal background check are required.
Must have 2 or more Mechanical Certification (ASE or State), willing to achieve more certification. At least two more is preferred. Must have your own general tools. Experience with Air Brakes, Electrical, drivability, suspension & steering, brakes, engine repair, a plus for the positions. Training available.

Full-time hourly shift, approximately 5:30am to 2:00pm
