Mechanic – Trucks, Diesel, Tractors & Equipment Repair

Westwind Organics is a 250-acre organic vegetable farm based in Carnation, WA. We have been farming in the Snoqualmie Valley for 27 years and are looking for a Mechanic to join our team.

We are seeking someone with strong mechanical ability who can diagnose and repair a wide variety of equipment. This position includes repairs both in the shop and in the field. Farm equipment experience is helpful, but not required. We are willing to train the right person with solid mechanical skills and at least two years of repair experience.

Our farm equipment includes heavy equipment, diesel engines, tractors, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, discs, plows, irrigation pumps, forklifts, and various-sized trucks.

Qualifications:
2+ years of experience as a mechanic, technician, or in a related repair role
Strong mechanical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and take initiative
Experience with diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and farm or heavy equipment
Farm equipment experience preferred, but not required
Welding and fabrication experience helpful, but not required
