MECHANIC WANTED!!!!

IMMEDIATE OPENING :

Diesel Mechanic – Salvage Yard Equipment & Tow Trucks
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Additional Hours: Weekends as needed
We are seeking an experienced and dependable Diesel Mechanic to join our team at a busy automotive salvage yard. This position is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel tow trucks, heavy equipment, and other large machinery used in daily operations.
Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and driveline components
Perform preventative maintenance on tow trucks, loaders, forklifts, excavators, and other heavy equipment
Troubleshoot mechanical issues and complete repairs in a timely manner
Inspect equipment for safety and operational reliability
Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed
Keep work area clean, organized, and safe
Assist with emergency repairs when needed
Requirements:
Previous experience working on diesel trucks and heavy equipment is required
Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
Must have your own tools
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Reliable transportation and a strong attendance record
Must be punctual and ready to work each day
Ability to lift heavy parts and work in various weather conditions
Valid driver's license preferred
CDL is a plus, but not required
