Mechanical Pipe Insulator / Insulation Installer

Tri-State Insulation Inc. is looking for dependable, hardworking individuals to join our growing team. Experience is preferred, but we are willing to train motivated candidates with basic construction or trade skills.

What You'll Do

As a Mechanical Insulator, you will be responsible for:

• Installing fiberglass, foam rubber, and mineral wool insulation on mechanical piping systems, duct, and equipment.
• Measuring, cutting, fitting, and securing insulation around pipes, valves, elbows, and other complex fittings.
• Installing protective PVC, aluminum, or stainless steel jacketing over insulation.
• Reading blueprints, layouts, and following supervisor instructions to ensure quality installations.
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following OSHA safety standards and using proper PPE.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical insulation, construction, HVAC, plumbing, or a related trade is preferred.
• We will train the right candidate who has a strong work ethic and basic construction skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable climbing ladders, working on scaffolding, and in confined spaces.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
• OSHA 10 certification required (we will help you obtain certification).

Travel
Some projects require overnight travel.
When travel is required, Tri-State Insulation provides:
