Position Overview:
Overseeing the maintenance and repair of mechanical systems, a Mechanical Service Manager ensures optimal performance and safety. Responsibilities include managing teams, coordinating inspections, troubleshooting issues, and implementing preventive measures.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement service strategies to meet customer needs and expectations.
- Manage a team of mechanical technicians and provide them with guidance and support.
- Ensure that service requests are completed on time and within budget.
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment and systems.
- Collaborate with customers to identify and resolve service issues.
- Monitor service performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Manage service contracts and negotiate with vendors for parts and equipment.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven work experience as a mechanical service manager or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems, maintenance and repair procedures.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to liaise with clients and team members.
- Ability to develop and implement strategies to optimize service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
