Position Overview:

Overseeing the maintenance and repair of mechanical systems, a Mechanical Service Manager ensures optimal performance and safety. Responsibilities include managing teams, coordinating inspections, troubleshooting issues, and implementing preventive measures.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement service strategies to meet customer needs and expectations.
  • Manage a team of mechanical technicians and provide them with guidance and support.
  • Ensure that service requests are completed on time and within budget.
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment and systems.
  • Collaborate with customers to identify and resolve service issues.
  • Monitor service performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
  • Manage service contracts and negotiate with vendors for parts and equipment.
Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven work experience as a mechanical service manager or similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems, maintenance and repair procedures.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to liaise with clients and team members.
  • Ability to develop and implement strategies to optimize service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
