Unique short-term work opportunity on the island of Kauai.

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Metal Roofing Installer to join our team, specializing in the installation of standing seam roofing systems using triple-coated galvanized steel panels. This role requires a professional with extensive hands-on experience and a deep understanding of all phases of metal roof installation on residential properties.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the accurate layout, some fabrication, and installation of standing seam panels, as well as trim, flashing, underlayment, and ventilation components. You must be proficient in reading and interpreting prints, manufacturer specifications, and project plans to ensure precise execution. Experience with measuring, cutting, and forming metal panels on-site or with equipment is essential.
Applicants must demonstrate thorough knowledge of roof preparation, fastening systems, thermal movement considerations, and weatherproof sealing methods. The ability to identify and resolve installation challenges, such as irregular or unique rooflines or structural inconsistencies, is critical. Familiarity with safety standards is essential.
Strong attention to detail, craftsmanship, and pride in producing high-quality, long-lasting roofing system are essential traits for success in this role. Candidates should be comfortable working at heights, in varying weather conditions, and as part of a collaborative crew environment.
Qualifications:
Minimum 4 to 5 years of experience installing metal roofing systems, specifically standing seam type. Proficiency with roofing tools, panel seamers, and metal fabrication equipment
Solid understanding of residential roofing structures.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Valid driver’s license.

All tools, materials and equipment already on site. 5 skilled laborers are available to assist you.
