We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled Metal Welder/Fabricator to join the Flyhouse team. This hands-on role involves welding, cutting, and assembling custom metal components from draftings and technical drawings. The ideal candidate has strong fabrication skills, a solid understanding of MIG and TIG welding, and the ability to work independently on complex builds.

Compensation

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG and TIG welding on a variety of metals (primarily steel)
• Cut, drill, and punch metal components to spec
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and draftings
• Set up and build welding jigs and fixtures for repeatable fabrication
• Operate basic machining tools (saws, drill press, grinders, etc.)
• Ensure all welds meet strength and quality standards
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Work closely with the design and production team to meet project deadlines

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of welding and fabrication experience preferred
• Proficient in MIG and/or TIG welding techniques
• Skilled in steel cutting, drilling, and metal finishing
• Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and technical draftings
• Experience with machining and lathe operations is a strong plus
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Must be reliable, safety-conscious, and team-oriented

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks for extended periods
