Mid-Level Cabinet Installer
We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Apprentice/Mid Level Cabinet Installer to join our team. This is a fantastic mid-level opportunity for someone with some experience in woodworking looking to build a hands-on career in carpentry and custom cabinetry.
In this role, you will work alongside the Lead Installer to learn the trade, from prepping the workspace to the final touches of hardware installation.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Lead Installer with unloading, unboxing and positioning cabinetry and materials at job sites.
- Measure, cut, and fit wood components, trim, and filler pieces precisely to within 1/16” using shop & power tools.
- Read and interpret blueprints, floor plans, and elevation drawings to determine correct placement to 1/16”.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site at all times.
- Perform basic cleanup and assist with final punch-list items.
- Basic Woodworking Knowledge: Familiarity with standard hand and power tools (e.g., table saws, miter saws, drills, levelers).
- Measurement Skills: This is a detail-oriented job – you must be detail-oriented in all areas, and have proficiency in reading a tape measure accurately down to the 1/16th of an inch to avoid mistakes, rework and waste.
- Blueprint Literacy: Ability to read and understand basic floor plans and architectural drawings.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, bend, kneel, and safely lift/carry heavy objects.
- Work Ethic: Punctual, reliable, eager to learn, and possess a strong attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
- Paid On-the-Job Training: Learn directly from Lead Installer.
