Mid-Level Remodeling Carpenter $30-$35/hour

Approved Custom Carpenters is looking for a dependable, skilled mid-level carpenter to join our growing team. We perform quality residential and light commercial renovation work throughout South Jersey and the Philadelphia area.

This is a hands-on position for someone who understands the fundamentals of carpentry, can complete common tasks with limited supervision, and wants consistent work with opportunities to grow.

COMPENSATION AND SCHEDULE

• $30–$35 per hour, based on experience and demonstrated ability
• Full-time work available
• Monday through Friday
• Occasional optional weekend work
• Paid weekly
• Opportunities for increased pay and responsibility
• Consistent variety of residential and commercial projects

TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Wood and light-gauge metal framing
• Interior and exterior trim installation
• Door and window installation
• Cabinet and vanity installation
• Drywall hanging, patching, and finishing
• Kitchen and bathroom remodeling
• Deck, porch, and general carpentry work
• Demolition and jobsite preparation
• Accurate measuring, cutting, and layout
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and professional jobsite
• Working respectfully inside occupied homes and businesses

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Approximately 2 or more years of hands-on carpentry or remodeling experience
• Ability to complete standard carpentry tasks with limited supervision
• Good understanding of measurements, layout, fastening, and installation methods
• Pride in clean, accurate workmanship
• Dependable attendance and communication
• Ability to work effectively as part of a crew
• Reliable transportation to jobsites throughout South Jersey and Philadelphia
• Valid driver’s license
• Basic hand tools
• Ability to safely lift construction materials and perform normal physical job duties

You do not need to know everything. We are looking for someone with a solid carpentry foundation, a good attitude, dependable work habits, and the desire to continue improving.
