Mig Welder

Position: Mig Welder

Location: Kodak, TN
Pay: Up to $25hr DOE
Duration: Minimum of 6 months
Shift: Welders will start on day shift and then be moved to 2nd Shift
Schedule: 3:30pm to 2:30am, Monday-Friday

Qualifications:

Requires a high-school diploma and formal technical training with a minimum of 2 years in a related manufacturing environment.
5 years directly related work experience is Highly preferred.
Requires basic reading, math, and writing skills.
Must be familiar with the operations and adjustments of welding machines in the performance of MIG Welding.
Must be capable of operating a scaling gun and grinder.
Must pass a fillet weld assessment in the positions of Vertical and Overhead both single and multiple passes; able to utilize a weld fillet gage; capable of the visual inspection of welds to determine compliance with workmanship standards
Must be familiar with the use of a Flow Meter.
Must pass a BC (manual steel fillet) and CJ (manual stainless steel) certification weld assessment both written and procedurally
