Commercial Millwork / Cabinet Shop Fabricator

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Millwork Fabricator / Cabinet Shop Craftsman to join our team.
We are not a CNC production shop. Our work consists primarily of small-volume, custom commercial and banking millwork. We use traditional woodworking equipment, edge banders, laminate equipment, and hand and power tools to fabricate custom products to project specifications.
Our projects include teller lines, transaction counters, breakroom cabinetry, custom banking products, countertops, and upper and lower commercial cabinetry.
Responsibilities

• Review and interpret shop drawings, plans, and project specifications.
• Cut, laminate, fabricate, build, and assemble commercial plastic-laminate millwork and casework.
• Fabricate teller lines, breakroom cabinetry, custom banking products, upper and lower cabinets, counters, and other specialty millwork.
• Accurately measure materials and verify dimensions against shop drawings.
• Set up and safely operate standard woodworking equipment, edge banders, saws, routers, sanders, and hand and power tools.
• Perform laminate application, edge finishing, fitting, and final assembly.
• Maintain a high level of workmanship and quality control throughout fabrication.
• Identify dimensional or fabrication issues before products leave the shop.
• Maintain productivity and quality while working within strict project schedules.
• Keep work areas, tools, and equipment clean, organized, and properly maintained.

Requirements

• Previous experience in commercial millwork, casework, cabinet fabrication, or finish carpentry.
• Ability to read and understand shop drawings, dimensions, and specifications.
• Strong measuring and layout skills.
• Experience using standard woodshop equipment and hand and power tools.
• Experience working with plastic laminate and commercial casework is strongly preferred.
• Attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality finished work.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to meet project deadlines.
• Reliable transportation.

Important: This Is Not a CNC Position
We do not use CNC machines for our fabrication process. This position is best suited for someone with traditional, hands-on cabinetmaking and millwork experience who is comfortable building custom products from shop drawings using standard woodworking equipment and hand tools.
