Millwork Shop Foreman

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Candidates will be well versed in all types of cabinet building and finishing.

3 + years cabinet making skills and previous supervisory experience required.

Must be able to delegate workload to employees, perform and manage multiple tasks based on production schedule.Overseeing quality control of finished product as well as managing shop materials and supplies included.

Evidence of strong leadership skills a must. Pay based on experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Coordinating of projects according to priorities and plans
Produce cut list and supply order
Quality control of finished product
Ensure all materials and products are ready in advance
Oversee shop materials and supplies
Producing schedules and monitoring attendance of crew
Allocating general and daily work to keep production on schedule
Supervise and train workers and tradespeople
Monitor all safety precautions
Resolve problems when they arise
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
