Position Summary
As a Mobile Auto Glass Technician, you'll safely repair and replace automotive glass while delivering exceptional customer service throughout the Sacramento region.
Working independently from a company-provided service vehicle, you'll perform windshield, side glass, rear glass, and roof glass replacements at customer homes, dealerships, collision repair centers, and commercial accounts. You'll also perform ADAS calibrations when required, ensuring every repair meets manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
Essential Responsibilities
- Inspect automotive glass to determine whether repair or replacement is appropriate.
- Repair chips and cracks using approved repair methods and materials.
- Remove and replace windshields, side glass, rear windows, quarter glass, and roof glass.
- Perform ADAS calibrations following manufacturer specifications.
- Verify proper fit, sealing, and functionality after every installation.
- Safely operate a company service vehicle while maintaining excellent driving performance.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain a clean, organized mobile workspace.
- Maintain inventory of glass, adhesives, and installation supplies.
- Complete electronic work orders, documentation, and calibration records accurately.
- Explain repairs, replacement procedures, and expected completion times to customers.
- Follow all company safety policies, PPE requirements, and environmental regulations.
- Deliver the professional customer experience that Nex Automotive is known for.
- Ability to pass a background check.
Required Qualifications
- Valid California Driver's License with a clean driving record
- Safe driving habits and ability to meet company vehicle monitoring standards
- Ability to operate smartphones and mobile applications
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work independently while managing a daily mobile schedule
Preferred Qualifications
- Two or more years of automotive glass installation experience
- Experience with ADAS calibrations
- Knowledge of OEM installation procedures
- Experience working with dealerships or collision repair facilities
- AGSC certification is a plus

- $28.00-$40.00 per hour DOE
