Mobile Diesel Technician

Seeking an experienced and dependable Diesel Mechanic / Fleet Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in keeping trucks and trailers safe, reliable, and road-ready. Contact 915-276-7081

• Diesel technician positions pay pach peek after two week hold
• Hourly Pay: $30.00 per hour
• Schedule: 40 plus-hour work week with OT and taking work when vehicle breaks down after hours
• Mobile technicians, work site service vehicle will be provided
• Paid major holidays
• Paid Vacation: 1 week after 1 year, and 2 weeks after the second year

Job Responsibilities:
*Perform preventive maintenance on trucks and trailers
*Complete oil changes, lubrication, and routine inspections
*Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
*Replace brake shoes, drums, lights, air lines, wheel seals, tires, and other wear items
*Perform DOT inspections and identify maintenance needs
*Manage fleet maintenance schedules and repair records
*Coordinate repairs and ensure equipment remains compliant and operational
*Conduct bumper-to-bumper inspections on tractors and trailers
*Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
*Must be able to lift 50 lbs
*Valid Drivers License with a minimum of 3 years of good driving record

Requirements:
*Experience working on diesel trucks and trailers
*Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
*Knowledge of air brake systems, suspension systems, electrical systems, and trailer repairs
*Ability to use diagnostic tools and repair software when needed
*Valid driver’s license (CDL is a plus but not required)
*Self-motivated, reliable, and capable of working independently
