MOBILE MOPED MECHANIC – WAIKIKI

$20–$40/hour depending on experience | Part-Time | Flexible Schedule

We are looking for a reliable, experienced moped mechanic to help maintain and repair our rental moped fleet in Waikiki.
This is a mobile mechanic position, so you'll work directly where the mopeds are located rather than at a traditional repair shop.
PAY & SCHEDULE
$20–$40/hour depending on experience and skill level
Approximately 2–3 days per week, depending on demand
Very flexible schedule
Most work can be completed any time of the day
Potential for additional hours as our fleet and demand grow
RESPONSIBILITIES
Fleet maintenance and management
Preventative maintenance and general upkeep
Diagnose and repair mechanical problems
Tire and tube changes
Carburetor cleaning, adjustment, and troubleshooting
Electrical diagnosis and repairs
Battery, starter, ignition, lighting, and wiring issues
Brake adjustments and repairs
Engine troubleshooting
General moped repairs
Keep mopeds safe, reliable, and ready for customers
Identify problems before they turn into larger repairs
Maintain an organized list of repairs and maintenance needed/completed
Other maintenance or fleet-related tasks as needed
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
You should be comfortable diagnosing problems independently, not just replacing parts when told what to replace.
Previous experience working on mopeds, scooters, motorcycles, small engines, or similar vehicles is strongly preferred.
You should be:
Reliable and responsible
Able to work independently
Good at troubleshooting mechanical and electrical problems
Organized
Able to communicate when parts or additional repairs are needed
Comfortable working with a fleet of vehicles rather than just individual repairs
TOOLS
You should have and bring your own basic mechanic tools.
We also have tools and equipment available, so you do not need to own every specialized tool.
