Mooresville: Warehouse / Printer Tech Trainee - $18/hr, Will Train

Poster Studio Express helps schools across the country make their own
posters and banners. We sell and support wide-format printers, supplies,
and our own design software, and we're growing. We're looking for one
dependable, mechanically-minded person to run our warehouse and train up
as a printer technician.

This is not a box-moving job. You'll start in the warehouse, but within
90 days you'll be setting up commercial printers, running our software,
and installing equipment at schools. It's a paid path into a skilled
trade. Experienced field techs in this industry commonly earn $25-30+/hr.

We're just off I-77 in Mooresville. Easy drive from Statesville,
Troutman, Davidson, Cornelius, Huntersville, Kannapolis, and Concord,
and it's a reverse commute if you're coming up from the south.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Pack and ship 5-10 orders a day (printers, ink, paper rolls, laminate)
• Receive inventory and keep the warehouse organized and clean
• Unbox, assemble, test, and prep wide-format printers for customers
• Change inks and printheads, load media, run test prints
• Learn our StudioCore software and basic printer troubleshooting
• Ride along on, and eventually lead, printer installations and customer

training at schools

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Mechanically inclined. You've fixed things, built things, or figured
things out with your hands

• Organized and tidy by nature
• Comfortable with computers (Windows, Wi-Fi, settings screens. We'll

teach the rest)
- Friendly and presentable. You'll represent us in front of teachers and
school staff
- Reliable. The warehouse runs on you being here.

REQUIREMENTS

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Able to pass a background check (you'll work inside K-12 schools)
• Able to lift 50-75 lbs regularly and team-lift heavier equipment
• Comfortable on your feet most of the day
• No printing experience required. We will train you.

PAY AND GROWTH

• $18/hr to start
• Performance review at 90 days with a raise once you're running

installations on your own

• Full-time, Monday-Friday, on-site in Mooresville, NC
• Paid time off
