Mosaic Assistant for Special Project

Architectural mosaic company is hiring assistants to help create a very large glass mosaic for an upcoming Bay Area plaza.

Work includes laying precut glass squares (smalti) onto fiberglass mesh sections and putting together large paper templates on the floor in our Vallejo studio. Artistic experience desired. Work on this special project will go from now to early September 2026.

Requirements:

• Able to work on the floor
• Discern color, shape and spacing nuances of the glass
• Good work ethic
• 15 hours a week minimum. Full time work is available if desired.
• 18 years old and above

Training pay $19-$20/ hour depending on speed and glass laying abilities. Pay increases as technique increases.
