Motivated Cabinet Shop Helper

Todd Davidson, owner of Davidson Cabinetry, is looking for a full time Cabinet Shop Helper to assist in Cabinet Manufacturing and Installation. He is looking for a candidate who is eager to learn and grow in the craft, humble, and smart. Todd Davidson takes much pride in his work and is inviting someone to be a part of building something that, together as a team, they can enjoy and be proud of. No carpentry experience is required, but aptitude in working with hands and building is necessary. Good physical fitness is a must. Must be willing to lift heavy items and work through hot days.

Duties

-Arrive on time
-Take direction and be flexible
-Keep shop and job sites clean
-Help move and care for tools
-Assist in building, lifting, glueing, sanding, cutting, moving, and installing wood components and cabinets.
-Open and close shop when necessary
-Conduct heavy lifting and handling of wood construction materials safely and efficiently.
-Communicate with boss, clients, and co-worker respectfully and clearly.
-Demonstrate ability to learn and carefully repeat new skills like sanding, cutting, measuring, etc.
