What You’ll Be Doing
As a Commercial Electrician at Bransford, you’ll play a critical role in delivering safe, clean, code-compliant electrical systems across commercial projects:

• Install, maintain, and repair commercial electrical systems
• Read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, specifications, and layout plans
• Install and bend conduit, including EMT, rigid, and PVC
• Pull wire and cable, make terminations, and install boxes, panels, breakers, devices, and lighting systems
• Install electrical equipment, controls, fixtures, and associated materials
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and help identify practical field solutions
• Ensure work meets NEC, local code requirements, and Bransford quality standards
• Coordinate with superintendents, builders, general contractors, and other trades to keep projects moving
• Work from ladders, lifts, and jobsite access equipment as needed
• Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and professional jobsite
• Support apprentices and helpers when needed, especially on layout, safety, and quality expectations

You’re a Strong Fit If You Bring

• 3+ years of commercial electrical experience preferred
• Proven experience with conduit bending, wire pulling, device installation, lighting, panels, and terminations
• Ability to read blueprints, electrical drawings, and layout plans accurately
• Working knowledge of NEC and Tennessee/local electrical code expectations
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work through jobsite challenges
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
• Dependability, good communication, and a team-first mindset
• Physical ability to perform jobsite work, including lifting, bending, climbing, kneeling, and working from lifts or ladders
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Basic hand tools commonly used in the electrical trade
• Journeyman license or electrical credentials are a plus, but not required for the right hands-on commercial experience.
