As an Apprentice Plumber, you'll train hands-on alongside experienced journeymen and foremen who genuinely want to see you succeed in learning plumbing systems installation, and the core skills of the trade on real jobs across San Diego County. No classroom-only theory, you'll be building real skills on real projects from day one.
What You'll Do
- Assist journeymen with installation of piping systems
- Learn to read and work from construction plans and blueprints
- Cut, fit, and join pipe (PEX, copper, PVC/ABS) under supervision
- Keep job sites clean, organized, and safe
- Transport materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites
- Complete daily reports and time tracking as directed by your foreman
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in varying conditions
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn and take direction
- Basic math skills and attention to detail
- Prior construction or trade experience a plus not required
- $19 – $25/hour, depending on experience — real pay for real work
