Vellek Electric is looking to add another person to our team serving the DC, Maryland & Northern Virginia area.

We’re a growing electrical contractor specializing in commercial service work, repairs, troubleshooting, upgrades and installations, along with select residential projects.

We’re interested in talking to:

• Journeyman Electricians – experienced, dependable, able to troubleshoot and work independently
• Apprentice Electricians – some field experience preferred and serious about learning the trade
• Electrical Helpers – experience is a plus, but we’ll consider the right person who is mechanically inclined, reliable and wants to build a career

What we’re looking for:

• Reliable and shows up on time
• Good attitude and professional around customers
• Takes pride in their work
• Willing to learn and take responsibility
• Comfortable working in commercial environments
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Drug-free and able to work safely

This is a good opportunity for someone who wants to learn more than just repetitive new construction. Our work includes service calls, troubleshooting, restaurants, commercial facilities, equipment, lighting, panels, service upgrades and high-end residential work.

Pay based on experience and ability. There is room to grow as the company grows.
