We are a South Orange County framing contractor specializing in custom homes, remodels, additions, structural framing, and commercial wood framing. We are looking for experienced, dependable framing professionals to join our team.

FRAMING FOREMAN — 10+ YEARS EXPERIENCE

We are looking for an experienced Framing Foreman who can confidently lead a crew and manage framing operations in the field.

Requirements:

Minimum 10 years of framing experience

Strong knowledge of residential wood framing
Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural plans
Ability to lay out and build from plans
Experience running framing crews
Strong understanding of structural framing, beams, headers, shear walls and hardware
Ability to coordinate with GCs, superintendents and other trades
Ability to plan daily work and keep crews productive
Strong quality-control and problem-solving skills
Reliable transportation
Professional attitude and strong work ethic
Safety-minded and dependable

Responsibilities:

Supervise and direct framing crews

Review plans and coordinate daily framing activities
Perform layout and verify dimensions
Coordinate material needs and deliveries
Maintain production schedules
Ensure work is built correctly and according to plans
Communicate with the superintendent/GC
Maintain a clean, organized and safe jobsite
Identify and resolve field issues before they become problems
FRAMING CARPENTERS — 5+ YEARS EXPERIENCE

We are looking for experienced Framing Carpenters with a minimum of 5 years of framing experience.

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years framing experience

Strong rough-framing skills
Ability to read plans and follow layout
Experience with walls, floors and roof framing
Knowledge of structural framing and hardware
Ability to work independently and as part of a crew
Own basic hand tools
Reliable transportation
Good attendance and strong work ethic
Ability to work safely at heights and on active jobsites
