NOW HIRING – Industrial Pipefitters, Millwrights & TIG Pipe Welders

Mt. Holly, NC | Long-Term Industrial Project | 6–12 Months

CCS Construction Staffing is hiring experienced Industrial Pipefitters, Millwrights, and TIG Pipe Welders for a major industrial shutdown and equipment relocation project in Mt. Holly, NC.
This is not commercial construction. We are looking for skilled industrial hands with experience working in chemical plants, manufacturing facilities, refineries, power plants, shutdowns, turnarounds, or other heavy industrial environments.
Project Scope
Crews will be working around large industrial reactors, pumps, process piping, and related equipment.
Work will include:
Demolition and removal of existing process equipment and piping
Disconnecting reactors, pumps, piping, valves, and associated equipment
Removing the first reactor and associated systems
Relocating a second reactor and pumps into the existing location
Setting and installing industrial pumps and equipment
Fitting and reconnecting process piping
Flange work, bolt-up, measuring, layout, and pipe installation
Rigging and moving heavy industrial equipment
Working safely during an active industrial shutdown/project
Industrial Pipefitters
Ideal candidates should have experience with:
Industrial/process piping
Reading piping isometrics and drawings
Measuring, laying out, and fitting pipe
Flanges, valves, pumps, and process equipment
Equipment tie-ins and reconnects
Shutdowns and turnarounds
Rigging, chain falls, come-alongs, and equipment movement
Commercial-only pipefitters may not have the experience required for this project.
Millwrights
We are looking for millwrights experienced with:
Industrial pumps
Reactors and process equipment
Equipment removal and installation
Rigging and heavy equipment movement
Setting, leveling, and aligning equipment
Mechanical demolition
Equipment relocation and reassembly
TIG Pipe Welders
Welders must have strong industrial pipe welding experience.
Requirements include:
Strong TIG pipe welding ability
Ability to produce X-ray-quality welds
Project will require approximately 5% X-ray testing
Experience welding industrial/process piping
Comfortable working around plant equipment and shutdown operations
Must have personal welding gear / TIG rig as required
Must have basic hand tools
Candidates with previous chemical plant, refinery, power generation, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, food processing, or industrial shutdown/turnaround experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
