We are a telecommunications infrastructure company seeking a reliable and motivated Construction / Field Laborer to support active data and communications projects. This role focuses on the installation and support of critical telecom systems, including conduit pathways and network infrastructure.
Schedule:
Monday – Friday
8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Full-Time)
Work Locations:
Project sites throughout Queens
Interviews conducted in Farmingdale, NY
Position Overview
This role supports the deployment of telecommunications infrastructure, including pathway installation, site preparation, and field support for network systems. Ideal candidates are hands-on, dependable, and interested in building a career in the telecom/data industry.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with installation of conduit systems for telecommunications and data cabling
Perform core drilling for structured cabling and network pathways
Support buildout of EMT systems and telecom infrastructure
Install and secure surface raceway systems (e.g., latch molding) for low-voltage/data cabling
Assist with site preparation, surface patching, and finish work
Follow OSHA and site-specific safety standards at all times
Maintain organized and professional job sites
Qualifications
Prior construction or field experience required (telecommunications experience a plus)
Familiarity with hand tools and job site environments
OSHA SST Certification required:
OSHA 30-Hour
2-Hour Drug & Alcohol Awareness
8-Hour Fall Prevention
Reliable transportation to job sites in Queens
Strong work ethic, punctuality, and willingness to learn
