An established industrial recycling company in Los Angeles is looking for a dependable, mechanically inclined person to help maintain and repair our fleet of trucks and heavy equipment.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with hands-on mechanical experience who wants steady, year-round work and the opportunity to learn more about trucks, hydraulics and industrial equipment.

**Job Responsibilities:**

• Perform oil changes and routine truck servicing
• Inspect and adjust truck brakes
• Replace hydraulic hoses on cranes and other equipment
• Help maintain and repair forklifts, Bobcats, cranes and balers
• Lubricate equipment and perform preventive maintenance
• Assist with diagnosing mechanical and hydraulic problems
• Help our mechanic with additional repairs as needed
• Keep the maintenance area clean and organized

**What We’re Looking For:**

• Some automotive, diesel, truck or heavy-equipment experience
• Basic knowledge of mechanical systems and hand tools
• Hydraulic experience is a plus
• Dependable, punctual and willing to learn
• Able to perform physical work and work outdoors
• Able to work safely around trucks and heavy equipment
• Valid driver’s license preferred

**Pay and Benefits:**

• $25–$30 per hour, based on experience

Esta es una excelente oportunidad para una persona con experiencia práctica en mecánica que busca trabajo estable durante todo el año y la oportunidad de aprender más sobre camiones, sistemas hidráulicos y equipo industrial.

**Responsabilidades:**

• Realizar cambios de aceite y servicios básicos de camiones
• Inspeccionar y ajustar frenos de camiones
• Cambiar mangueras hidráulicas de grúas y otros equipos
• Ayudar con el mantenimiento y reparación de montacargas, Bobcats, grúas y compactadoras
• Lubricar equipos y realizar mantenimiento preventivo
• Ayudar a diagnosticar problemas mecánicos e hidráulicos
• Ayudar al mecánico con otras reparaciones
• Mantener limpia y organizada el área de mantenimiento

**Requisitos:**

• Algo de experiencia en mecánica automotriz, diésel, camiones o equipo pesado
• Conocimiento básico de sistemas mecánicos y herramientas
• Experiencia con sistemas hidráulicos es una ventaja
• Ser responsable, puntual y estar dispuesto a aprender
• Poder realizar trabajo físico y trabajar al aire libre
• Poder trabajar de manera segura cerca de camiones y equipo pesado
• Licencia de conducir válida de preferencia

**Pago y beneficios:**
