Maintenance Technicians
Description
DOMINION MANAGEMENT SOLUTIONS INC is a growing Central Florida association management firm. We provide full-service management for residential and commercial community associations, with a focus on operations, governance, financial stewardship, amenities, and the day-to-day care of the properties we serve.
We were built by experienced association professionals who believe clients deserve tailored, accountable service. Our culture rests on accountability, reliability, and trust, expressed in our T.R.U.S.T. principles: We look for people who take pride in their work, communicate clearly, and treat residents, boards, and teammates with respect.
We are hiring now in the MetroWest & Winter Park markets.
This is a hands-on role caring for condominium and community association common areas. You will handle general repairs and upkeep, including minor plumbing, minor electrical, painting, pressure cleaning, and routine building maintenance, with safety first.
Responsibilities include regular property inspections, performing general maintenance, coordinating vendor repairs, keeping public areas clean and safe, following maintenance and purchasing guidelines, and troubleshooting property needs. This is also an on-call role for after-hours emergencies, with extra pay when called in. Reliable transportation is required.
We are looking for a high school diploma or equivalent and at least five years in building trades, plumbing, maintenance, or related handyman work. You should be comfortable with general trade tools and equipment, provide good customer service, and use email and a smartphone for reporting and communication.
Physical requirements include the ability to lift 50–100 lbs. with proper safety measures, stand for extended periods, work in confined spaces, walk and climb stairs, handle equipment, and work in varying weather. The role also involves repetitive hand and wrist motions and the ability to recognize emergency alarms.
What we offer
Full-time team members are eligible for a medical healthcare contribution plan, 401(k), an employee perks program, and vacation and personal days, subject to plan terms. Part-time schedules are available for candidates who want steady hours with a growing firm. We provide the tools, training, and direction you need to do the job safely and well.
Who we are looking for
People who show up, follow through, and take ownership of their work. You do not need to know every association rule on day one. You do need to be dependable, safety-minded, and willing to learn how we care for the communities we manage.
