DIESEL MECHANIC - NIGHT SHIFT - GRAND PRAIRIE, TX

Wednesday-Saturday | 5:00 PM-5:00 AM

Bancroft & Sons Transportation LLC is looking for an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our night crew in Grand Prairie, TX.

We are a family-owned and operated trucking company established in 1969. This is a stable, long-term position working on our own fleet in a clean, well-lit 4-bay shop.

You'll be working on modern, well-maintained equipment with a solid maintenance team - not worn-out junk.

SCHEDULE

Wednesday through Saturday
5:00 PM to 5:00 AM

Four-day work week with three days off.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Diagnose and repair Class 8 tractors and trailers
• Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled services
• Troubleshoot engine and electrical issues
• Perform brake repairs and maintenance
• Diagnose and repair A/C systems
• Complete accurate service records and work orders
• Help keep our fleet safe, reliable, and on the road

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 2+ years of diesel mechanic experience
• Class 8 tractor/trailer experience preferred
• Must have your own tools
• Ability to troubleshoot and work independently
• Dependable and able to work the full night-shift schedule
• Strong understanding of fleet maintenance and safety standards
• Must be able to pass a drug test
