Production Efficiency Engineer – Short-Term Contract

**Location: Field-based – travel to jobsites in Texas and Oklahoma
**Contract Length: Approximately 3–6 months
**Travel: Required
**Travel Support: Hotel accommodations and per diem provided

We are seeking a hands-on **Production Efficiency Engineer** for a short-term contract assignment supporting field operations in Texas and Oklahoma. This role will focus on evaluating production workflows, labor utilization, and operational efficiency at active jobsites.

The ideal candidate is analytical, comfortable working in field environments, and able to identify opportunities to improve the efficiency and flow of production beds and related operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate the efficiency and flow of production beds and overall production processes.
• Observe jobsite operations and identify bottlenecks, delays, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Audit employee time-clock activity and compare recorded hours with jobsite operations.
• Review payroll and time records for accuracy and consistency.
• Audit jobsite labor activity, staffing levels, and labor utilization.
• Analyze productivity, workflow, and employee deployment to identify opportunities for improved efficiency.
• Document observations, findings, and recommended corrective actions.
• Work with field leadership and management to implement practical process improvements.
• Track results and help determine whether changes are improving productivity and operational performance.

Qualifications:

• Engineering background preferred, particularly in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering, Operations Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience evaluating production processes, workflow, labor productivity, or operational efficiency.
• Strong analytical and observational skills.
• Ability to review timekeeping, payroll, labor, and production data.
• Comfortable working independently in active jobsite and production environments.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Willing and able to travel to jobsites throughout Texas and Oklahoma for the duration of the assignment.

Assignment Details:

This is a 3–6 month contract position requiring regular jobsite travel. Hotel accommodations and a daily per diem will be provided for qualifying travel.
