Are you passionate about clean energy and ready to make a hands-on impact? Summit Technology Group is looking for a motivated Renewables Service Technician to join our growing team. You'll play a key role in solar and battery installations, system monitoring, and ensuring our customers get the best clean energy experience possible.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Monitor customer solar and battery systems weekly using multiple platforms to identify issues
• Document and track customer issues and resolutions to ensure timely follow-up
• Coordinate with the operations team to address system faults and service needs
• Assist with processing equipment RMAs as required
• Participate in solar and battery installations — equipment layout, mounting, wire pulls, terminations, and commissioning
• Conduct quality control audits on all project sites to uphold workmanship standards
• Meet with city and county building and fire inspectors to close out permits
• Participate in inspections
• Prepare estimates
• Assist clients with system orientation

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Ability to read and understand project plans
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Capable of managing time and multitasking in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous solar experience is a plus — we'll train the right candidate
• Basic understanding of electrical principles and electrical code
• Comfortable with web-based tools: Smartsheet, monitoring systems, MS Office Suite
• Basic math skills and English proficiency required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This is an active, hands-on role. You should be comfortable working on rooftops, climbing ladders, lifting up to 40 lbs., and using safety equipment. Reasonable accommodations will be made for individuals with disabilities.
