AWNING INSTALLER / SKILLED LABORER

Trade Management is hiring skilled laborers/awning installers for a construction project in Houston. No previous awning installation experience is required! Candidates should have basic carpentry skills, be comfortable using hand tools and a tape measure, and be physically able to work from lifts and ladders.

Pay: $19–$20/hour

Schedule:

• 10–12 hour shifts
• 6 days per week
• Report to the shop at 6:30 AM daily
• Work in 3-person crews
• First 3 days include required safety training

Job Duties:

• Assist with awning installation and construction projects
• Use basic hand tools and tape measures
• Perform basic carpentry and construction tasks
• Work from ladders and aerial/boom lifts
• Load, unload, and transport materials as needed
• Follow all safety procedures and jobsite requirements
• Work as part of a 3-person crew
• Travel to out-of-town job locations when assigned

Requirements:

• Basic carpentry or construction experience
• Comfortable using hand tools and a tape measure
• Must be physically able to climb ladders and work from lifts
• Must be comfortable working 10–12 hour shifts, 6 days per week
• Must be willing to travel out of town when needed
• Bilingual preferred
• OSHA 10 preferred
• Aerial lift/boom lift experience or training preferred, but not required
• Reliable transportation

Travel:

• Travel is required when crews are assigned out of town
• Hotel is provided
• $60/day per diem provided when traveling
• Drive time is paid at the regular hourly rate

Required PPE will be provided.
