NYC Licensed Master Sign Hanger – Monthly Retainer + Steady Work

Established NYC-based sign and graphics company seeking a Licensed Master Sign Hanger for an ongoing working relationship.

We handle sales, design, fabrication, and client management and are looking for a reliable license holder to support permit-related work on a consistent basis.

This is a support role — not a client-facing position.

Scope:

Provide licensed sign hanger coverage for DOB filings

Review standard storefront sign jobs (panels, small cabinets, basic installs)
Be available for permit coordination as needed
Occasional site visit if required (limited)

Compensation Structure:

$1,000/month retainer (initial period) – for availability, priority response, and license access
Per-project fees (to be agreed based on scope)
Additional hourly only for DOB objections / special situations

Important:

We control all client relationships and project management

No direct client interaction required
Looking for someone who values steady volume and long-term consistency

Requirements:

Valid NYC Master Sign Hanger License

Experience with DOB NOW filings and sign permits
Responsive and dependable
Professional and easy to work with
