OH FLOORING FACILITY MANAGER

DUTIES /RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for the management of services and processes that support the core business of G.S. Floor Designs, Inc Middleburg Heights, OH Location.
• Apply knowledge and experience of carpet and flooring installation processes and ability to read blueprints and problem solve and troubleshoot as necessary.
• Create, recruit and retain relationships with subcontractors and crews communicating company standards and industry best practices.
• Manage incoming and outgoing materials, ensuring accurate inventory levels and product quality.
• Lead and develop staff, providing training, guidance and performance evaluations.
• Ensures both strategic planning and day-to-day operations.
• Identify areas for operational improvement and implement process enhancements.
• Directs and plans essential central services such as reception, security, maintenance, mail, archiving, cleaning, waste disposal and recycling.
• Also, may be required to perform other related duties as requested including, but not limited to completing special projects and miscellaneous assignments required.

Essential Functions:

• Conduct job site visits as needed to manage customer satisfaction.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Managing and leading change to ensure minimum disruption to core activities.
• Ensures the office meets health and safety requirements.
• Checking that agreed work by staff or contractors has been completed satisfactorily and following up on any deficiencies.
• Coordinating and leading one or more teams to cover various areas of responsibility.
• Knowledge of flooring materials (carpet, hardwood, tile, vinyl etc.) and installation processes.
• Conduct regular inspection of facility, tools and equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
• Partners with human resources for disciplinary action, performance reviews and human relations support.

Must be able to pass a background check

Must have a Valid Driver’s License
