WE ARE HIRING
We are seeking a dependable and experienced Heavy-Duty Diesel Mechanic to join our trucking company as a contracted mechanic in Beaumont, California.
Responsibilities include:
- Diagnosing and repairing Freightliner, Kenworth, Peterbilt, Volvo and other commercial trucks
- Brake, air-system, suspension and electrical repairs
- Preventive maintenance and oil-change services
- Engine and ECM diagnostics
- DOT annual and 90-day inspection repairs
- Mobile service calls when needed
- Accurately documenting repairs and findings
- Previous heavy-duty diesel or commercial-truck repair experience
- Knowledge of Detroit, Cummins and Volvo engines
- Familiarity with diagnostic software such as DiagnosticLink, Cummins INSITE or JPRO
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently and troubleshoot problems
- Professional, dependable and customer-service oriented
- Own tools preferred
