Operations & Facility Manager - Small Engine / Handy ($55k-$60k)

Local Inwood, NY service company looking to hire a full-time Operations & Facility Manager! Starting pay is $55,000 - $60,000/year with great opportunity for growth. Peak season runs May through October. Full training provided on the business side; the handy part is on you!

We are looking for someone to join our team of fun, dedicated, smart, positive, and motivated people. Great work environment: 98% of our staff love working here. (Yes, that was a joke; if you found it slightly to moderately funny, this may be the place for you.)

Responsibilities:

Train our team in best practices

Get the team out in the morning: vans prepped, product mixed, everyone out on time

Keep our fleet of vans on the road

Light repair of two-stroke engines (if you can keep a weed whacker alive, this might be the job for you)

Season startup and shutdown of vehicles, machines, and facility

Parts ordering and inventory

Help techs out when something breaks in the field

Retraining of techs

Keep the shop and facility running

Requirements & Qualifications:

You need to be handy. If you're the one your friends call when the mower won't start, call us!

Experience with small engines, cars, boats, landscaping equipment, or dirt bikes.

Full training provided on the business side - the handy part is on you.
