Painting Operations Manager

Description

Well-established, fast-growing painting company serving northern Utah is looking for an experienced Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day operations and help take our business to the next level. If you're an organized leader who enjoys managing people, solving problems, improving processes, and delivering exceptional customer service, we'd like to hear from you.

You will be expected to manage daily operations for residential and commercial painting projects including crew oversight and scheduling, subcontractors, material acquisition, and equipment for maximum efficiency and profitability. You will ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget, conduct job site inspections, and maintain the highest quality standards. You will be communicating with customers throughout each project to ensure satisfaction and coordinate with estimators and office staff from project start through completion. You will also recruit, train, coach, and evaluate painters and crew leaders and resolve scheduling, staffing, and customer service issues quickly and professionally. We’re not looking for a “yes” man, rather someone who will implement and improve operational systems and procedures, monitor labor costs, production goals, and job profitability.

For immediate consideration, you should have 3+ years of operations, project management, or construction management experience in the painting industry, strong leadership and teambuilding skills, and excellent communications and customer service skills (bilingual Spanish/English is preferred). You should also have experience scheduling multiple crews and managing changing priorities, be comfortable using computers, scheduling software, Microsoft Office, and mobile technology. A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is also required.

If you’re selected for our team, you will enjoy a competitive salary based on experience, performance bonuses, a company vehicle or vehicle allowance (if applicable), and paid time off for vacations and holidays. If you enjoy working in a supportive team environment where your ideas make a difference and you see yourself as a results-oriented leader who takes pride in building high-performing teams to deliver outstanding customer service, we'd love to meet you.
