Operator Foreman -Immediate Start *Several Month Project*

We are seeking an experienced Operator Foreman to lead site development and utility installation for Bergen County, NJ project. This is a high-visibility project requiring a leader who is "hands-on" with heavy equipment while effectively managing a crew and ensuring strict adherence to civil engineering specifications. This is one of many projects we have in the pipeline that we need an experienced operator for.

Core Responsibilities

Site Supervision: Manage daily operations for site clearing, earthwork, and utility installation.

Equipment Operation: Expertly operate excavators, loaders, and rollers for precise grading and trenching.

Demolition Oversight: Lead the removal of existing asphalt, concrete slabs, and block walls.

Utility & Drainage: Supervise the installation of storm piping, inlets, and new sewer/water lines.

Structural Elements: Oversee construction of gabion walls, concrete retaining walls, and specialty block walls.

Compliance: Ensure all soil erosion and sediment control measures (silt fences, inlet filters) are maintained per NJDEP standards.

Requirements

Proven Experience: Minimum 5+ years as a Foreman or Lead Operator in heavy civil construction.

Technical Literacy: Ability to read and interpret complex civil sets, including grading, utility, and detail plans.

Safety First: Strict adherence to OSHA standards and local municipal safety regulations.

Project Specs: Familiarity with NJDEP rules regarding the removal of demolished materials and excess soil.

Communication: Coordinate effectively with the Project Engineer
