The Opportunity
This position works out of our Plymouth, MN, locion in the Electrophysiology (EP) division.
Main Purpose of Role
As an Operor II, you’ll work under direct supervision, performing routine and repetitive assembly operions and processes.
Wh You’ll Work On
Performs Casting/Coing functions
Examines medical devices and reled assemblies after molding operions to loce bubbles, nicks and/or excess epoxy
Utilizes small drills, reamers, taps, and knives to access bubbles and remove excess epoxy
Pches and repairs bubbles or voids using syringes and small tools; bakes parts to cure epoxy pches
Performs Mechanical Assembly functions
Kits, assembles, bonds, cos, and processes medical devices and reled parts using microscopes and applicable tools
Loces and corrects problems by examining devices and components and visually inspecting parts/assemblies
Repairs and corrects devices and reled components using microscopes and applicable tools
Performs Packaging Functions
Kits, assembles, and packages devices and reled accessories using applicable tools
Loces and corrects problems using a microscope and applicable tools
Reviews all device documention for completeness and accuracy
May set-up/utilize special test equipment
Shift
Monday - Thursday, 5am-3:30pm, with potential overtime
Required Qualificions
High school diploma or GED
Typically, two plus years of relevant training/experience in medical device assembly
The ability to read, write, and communice effectively in English is also required; this requirement includes clear, understandable speech and demonstred comprehension skills
Must have the ability to on occasion lift up to approximely 25 pounds
The ability to work overtime is required
Previous microscope experience is highly desired
Preferred Qualificions
AA degree in Electrical/Mechanical Technology, or comparable specialized training in and working knowledge of the manufacture of implantable medical devices or equivalent is desired.
Five years or more of medical device or reled assembly experience is preferred.
